About Son Cast Media

Son Cast Media, Inc. (SCM) is a non-denominational, nonprofit organization founded in 2006 in Birmingham, Alabama. SCM serves you and the world through the Internet and other technology.

To respond to your needs, we must have a keen awareness of current events, know and understand your preference of topics and communication styles, and constantly monitor resources available. In doing so, we will use a four–pronged spiritual focus to provide you with relevant educational, inspirational, and insightful information.

Faith – Through a variety of styles and formats, our writers and speakers will bring a fresh outlook to how intimate and real a relationship with Christ can be, and how developing that relationship impacts the questions and situations we all deal with on a daily basis.

Hope – Speaking from the heart, today’s up-and-coming communicators will use compassionate counsel, laughter, and life experiences to bring hope and encouragement to you and others.

Endurance – By making biblical principles relevant to today’s issues, our top teachers will empower you to find help and guidance for spiritual struggles. Our writers will help unlock the incredible wisdom and power that can be found within God’s truths, and convey this to you in the formats you prefer and understand.

Freedom – To help you celebrate your faith and challenge your potential for ministry in your spheres of influence, we will share personal profiles from the lives of others who are coping with life’s most difficult challenges in a practical and relevant way.

The first resource we will provide is a website for young Christian women, www.etlcafe.org, which will be our model for additional resources to be included in the future. We know this resource is needed because a major research study revealed that there are approximately 10 million Christian women who are now searching for alternative ways to enrich their spiritual life.

After the EtL Café is thriving, SCM will develop resources for other segments of the population, as well as provide information about, and links to, books, films, videos, podcasts and other resources of interest to you.
